New CC Album!

omg omg I finally sat down and listened to it. Counting Crows…..I still love y’all.

And they did Four White Stallions in the studio…finally! Now if they’d just do August and Everything After….life would be complete.

30 Day Song Challenge Day 1: Your favorite song

Gah! this is already too hard. Should I just give up now?

Ok,ok…I will pick my favorite song lately. Because I’ve been listening to it over and over. It’s a live recording of Counting Crows performing “Angels of the Silences.”

I love seeing this band live. They are magnificent performers, and the lead singer, Adam Duritz, is possibly one of my favorite lyricists. I put him on a little pedestal next to Paul Simon and Lennon/McCartney in my little universe of especially fantastic musicians. What I love most is that they change up their songs in performance.
